Coalition

Recognizing that the Growing Greener initiatives will soon run out of funds, a statewide coalition of nineteen  conservation, recreation and environmental organizations formed in 2008 to plan and execute a successor Growing Greener program initiative.  The Coalition brings decades of experience and success in protecting and restoring our land and water resources, revitalizing our communities, enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities and preserving our historic assets.  Moreover, collectively these organizations led the charge on the successful passage of Growing Greener I and II.
